I’ve got some exciting news to share. The editorial Staff at Expo Milan 2015 world recipes have published several of my recipes and I’ve been awarded the official Contributor badge for my website!

UPDATE: they also included my Strawberry Dessert recipe on their “Chosen for You” section on their homepage for opening week in May! Only 8 recipes out of 182, 500 were chosen.
It’s an exciting 6 month event in Milan where foods from more than 140 participating countries will show the best of their technology that offers a concrete answer to a vital need: being able to guarantee healthy, safe and sufficient food for everyone, while respecting the Planet and its equilibrium. In addition to the exhibitor nations, the Expo also involves international organizations, and expects to welcome over 20 million visitors to its 1.1 million square meters of exhibition area.
Each recipe has been assigned a Food Print whereby, for each ingredient, they take into account all stages of a production chain, from farming to transportation and distribution. They assign an indicator that displays a value from 1 (low environmental impact) to 5 (significant environmental impact) for every recipe. I’m thrilled to report that 80% of mine are classified as 1 and the other as 2!
I’ll be visiting the Expo Milan 2015 later in summer and will report back on that as well.
